Holiday Romantic Movie Countdown 26 -30

1. 26. Christmas in Connecticut- Journalist Elizabeth Lane is one of the country's most famous food writers. In her columns, she describes herself as a hard working farm woman, taking care of her children and being an excellent cook. But this is all lies. In reality she is an unmarried New Yorker who can't even boil an egg. The recipes come from her good friend Felix. The owner of the magazine she works for has decided that a heroic sailor will spend his Christmas on *her* farm. Miss Lane knows that her career is over if the truth comes out, but what can she do?

2. 27. Holiday Affair- Just before Christmas, department store clerk Steve Mason meets big spending customer Connie Ennis, really a commercial spy. He unmasks her but lets her go, which gets him fired. They end up on a date, which doesn't sit well with Connie's steady suitor, Carl, but delights her son Timmy, who doesn't want Carl for a step-dad. Standard (if sweet) romantic complications follow.

3. 28. Miracle on 34th Street- A little girl discovers dreams do come true if you really believe. Six-year-old Susan has doubts about childhood's most enduring miracle - Santa Claus. Her mother told her the "secret" about Santa a long time ago, so Susan doesn't expect to receive the most important gifts on her Christmas list. But after meeting a special department store Santa who's convinced he's the real thing, Susan is given the most precious gift of all - something to believe in.

4. 29. The Christmas Card- In the war in Afghanistan, Captain Cody Cullen is touched by lovely card sent by Faith Spelman from the small town of Nevada City, California. As months pass, the card never leaves his side, giving him the strength to survive and setting him on a mission to find her.

30. Noel- It's Christmas Eve in New York. It tells the stories of five strangers in the city and how their stories cross with each other. Rose Collins is a divorced publisher who, needs a miracle to improve the health of her mother who's has Alzheimers. Meanwhile, Nina Vasquez breaks her engagement with her fiancé Mike because of his jealousy, but misses him. Mike is stalked by a stranger, bartender Artie Venzuela. Jules arranges to spend Christmas Eve in the hospital, where he spent the best Christmas of his life when he was a teenager.
