To celebrate Women's History Month Astroglide is shining a spotlight on fearless women who have helped to push boundaries when it comes to gender discrimination.

Nature lover Jane Goodall had the primal courage to not only study chimpanzees in the wild but become the lowest ranking member of a troop for 22 months. No human had ever pulled that off. This is a woman who needs no barrier between herself and nature.

“Lawmakers, either get out of the vagina business or go to medical school.” - Wendy Davis

Texas Senator Wendy Davis took a huge stand for women rights when she enacted an 11 hour filibuster against a state bill that would ban abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy. Although the bill eventually passed and was signed in the next legislative session, Wendy left us with  gems such as the above.

“I am not afraid... I was born to do this” – Joan of Arc

Until her death, being burned at the stake for Heresy in 1431, this fearless female born in France in 1412, Joan of Arc kicked the pulp out of the British until her capture in 1430.

These women have all encouraged empowerment in their own ways and through different spans of time. Astroglide wants to continue to empower strong women. We've put together a empowerment playlists to encourage women of all ages, races, and income levels to not just lean in but storm in.
