Smooth Like Jazz

Are you prepared to slow things down in Canada for the Montreal Jazz Festival? We’ve got a few tips to keep the festival gliding along smoothly for you! Montreal Jazz Fest is delivering jazz, folk, and alternative music for days on end. No really... the festival goes from June 28th to July 7th this year. There are over 150 indoor concerts, plus 10 stages, and 300 free shows that all include 3,000 artists. This marks the 34th year of the festival, that will draw in performers and music fans from across the globe. Are you ready to warm things up, and ship off to Tennessee for Bonnaroo? Here are some friendly reminders that should help you experience festival season to its fullest. Bonnaroo is a whole new world, where a ‘survival of the fittest’ mentality is left at the entrance and communal love is all that’s allowed in. Music Festival Season has arrived!

This past weekend saw the return of the Hangout Beach Music and Arts Festival in Gulf Shores, AL, marking the beginning of festival season! While some music fans will be nursing sunburns, others will trek to Chicago for the Electric Daisy Carnival May 24-26. EDC is known for bringing the world's hottest DJs and electronic artists together under one roof. Some of the performers on this weekend's lineup include: David Guetta, Tiesto, Dirtyphonics, Kaskade, the Bloody Beetroots, Avicii and Empire of the Sun. Before you head out to dance Memorial Day away, here are a few tips to remember:  Stay hydrated! Drink plenty of water at regular intervals throughout EDC. Wear comfortable shoes that are easy to walk and dance in. At EDC, costumes and glow sticks abound, so come prepared to shine! Smile!
