Dear Dianne,
This is
your decision more than anybody’s. If a sexually active person wants to avoid
the risk of acquiring a sexually transmitted infection or becoming pregnancy,
then it’s best to use a condom. In explaining this to your partner, ask him why
he would like to quit using protection. At some point, almost every couple has
the conversation of whether or not to use prophylactics, and it’s important to
hear from both lovers. That doesn’t mean, however, that you need to change your
mind.
